Idiom 37: Ballpark figure

상황: 어떠한 일을 하시다보면 먼저 생각하는 예산치가 있을 것입니다. 예를 들어 집을 renovation할 경우에 어느 정도의 비용을 드는지를 알기 위해 견적을 뽑기도 하지요. 저 같은 경우도 어떠한 프로젝트를 하는데 있어서 proposal을 제출(submit)할 때 반드시 들어가야 할 것중의 하나가 원하는 추정치이죠. 이럴 때 많이 사용되는 말이 이 표현입니다.

상황: 사람을 만나다보면 언제나 빈틈이 없는 사람을 보곤 합니다. 매사에 준비성이 있고 무슨 일을 하는데 있어서 기회가 왔다 싶으면 놓치지 않죠. 이럴 때 쓰는 표현입니다. 부정문에서 사용됩니다.
