상황: 파티에 가거나 어디 초대에 받아서 갈때에 옷을 잘 입어야겠지요. 직장에서 누군가 특별히 옷을 잘 입고 오면 이런 말을 하죠. '옷 죽이네요' '멋진 옷이네요'

be dressed to kill = wear one’s finest clothes = dressed in fancy or formal clothing 홀딱 반할 만한 옷차림을 하고 있다
