Idiom 45: Live wire

상황: 어떤 일에 정열을 가지고 왕성하게 활동하는 사람을 가리킬 쓰는 말입니다. 여러분들도 이런 사람이 되시기를 바랍니다. 저도 몰랐는데 구글에서 알아본 바에 의하면 2004년에 나온 서태지의 앨범제목이었다고 하네요.

live wire = a person who is very active, both mentally and physically = eager beaver = an alert and energetic person

People always want her at their parties because she is a live wire.

이 단어를 보면 생각나는 단어가 있어 그냥 여기에 올립니다. 상관은 없어 보이지만 wire가 들어가서... Go haywire라구 '고장나다, 흥분하다'라는 뜻입니다. The healthcare (or financial) system goes haywire.
