Idiom 23: Hit the book

상황: 미국에서 사시면서 영어에 대한 부담감을 안가질 수가 없으실 것입니다. 그렇다고 포기도 못하는 것이지요. 직장, 학교, 아이들 학교등의 일상생활 등에서는 영어 없이는 살아갈 수가 없지요. 한국에서도 사정은 마찬가지 일 것입니다. 영어를 못하면 대접받지 못하는 것이 현실이니까요. 이러한 상황에서 학교를 졸업했거나 졸업하지 않았거나 미국에서 태어나지 않았거나 영어가 아직도 필요한 우리 모두 영어를 계속 공부해야 할 것입니다. 그래서 이 블로그를 만들었고 '열심히 공부하자'는 의미에서 이번 숙어를 올려 놓습니다. 한마디오 '열공'이라고 할 때 쓰는 표현...
